Started in December 1996, Tejaswini is primarily being run to assist in cases of Martial Discord. The objective is to end the maratal discard on a cordial note bringing about a compromise in the couple resolving the objection. In casec where couple do not comprise, legal jury is the only way out. Then begins the effort of to securing back the streedhan. The organization provides complete legal backup to the ladies in such cases, free of cost.

Why Tejaswini?

Cases of family disputes that remain unsolved within the four walls of the house eventually reach the nearest Police Station . Such cases need to be handled with a high level of sensitivity . There is a need for dialogue and negotiation that require a skillset which comes with special training . And increasing pressure from women's organizations to deal with the victims of domestic violence with greater sensitivity resulted in a JV between the organization and the Nagpur Police aptly called Tejaswini .
